I like the rack and pinion depth adjustment. In short just twist the knob to adjust the height. With a little design, if you are building a simple RT (w/o the branded plates like Pinnacle) that feature would come in handy with regards to adjusting the bit height.

Can you do me a favor if its ok with you, can you bring your 110v B&D router on the EB and if not much also your Bosch 110v router just to test something I will bring my Dewalt.

Item Sold.

I'm was saddened to let this router go because it served me well. However I want to phase all out 1/4" bits in the arsenal. Do you think this is a good idea or 1/4" bits still have it's place in a wood shop without a trim router.

nopes. 1/4 bits create alot more chatter than 1/2 bits. 1/2" bits are great for those aggressive cuts.

If you are using all 1/2 collet routers 1/4 bits isnt a wise investment.

Yeah I guess 1/2" inch is the way to go. I too don't see the logic in keeping 2 sizes of bit shanks. Ever since I got 1/2" it's all I use now.
