i have this kit, forcibly used it in my small drill press, which didnt really work perfectly, because of some troublesome adjustments to the drill (to make the kit fit into my drill press). . . but i think it'll be really cool to use on the right drill press.

also, Jay, be careful when changing bits, you have to hold it correctly before loosening the chuck . . . did it incorrectly twice, bits went straight down, and chipped it. but those chipped bits can still be used. . .

well the big guy (Joey) similar to Santa came to the Hafele seminar and brought me this kit.
after the seminar, I was wiped=out due to little sleep the night prior, but after getting some much needed rest, I woke up and gave this kit a run for the money.
an installation reminder, don't forget to use the spacer. which was easy to miss (well in may case. lol).

installation was straightforward, though I did not read the manual and did not use the hold down assembly since I didn't want my dp table removed.

then I tried the chisels off the dp. drilling several holes that lined up to make the mortise size. used a mallet and cleaned the residue.

and the results... both make great mortises.
the left was cut on the dp and the right hand cut...

My initial findings, the drill did cut well but not as I would have liked it, using it on the dp gave some stress on the spindle which I don't like much but works as it should. But, for the price of the kit and using a handheld drill the chisels can provide consistent sized mortises. Having said that, the kit is of very sound value, be advised that it mounts on larger drill presses (like 3/4" chuck capacity). I actually would pay twice for the chisels (can also be used to square corners, which can sometimes be a hassle with reg. chisels) it provided alone, everything else would be a plus.

Wow fit na fit. Ayan na mga bros get your kit na while supply last. Joey is being generous with the price. Don't think one can find this cheaper that what he's offering.

It was designed for drill press po talaga and compatible to for sure ..super mura pa c/o master joey..grab it while supply last mga sir..i used to sell it 1.2k then..
