4" woodworking vise (shown here holding a sander)
Irwin bench screw for building a workbench.
Is the bench screw a separate item from the vise with its own price?
Is it a plain screw with nut, 1 or 1-1/4" diameter x 18" long? (Not sure about the dimensions, I can't seem to find it on the web now.)

the Jet ts has a SPLITTER not a riving knife...
I know the difference between a splitter and a riving knife.
The splitter is fixed to the table, while the riving knife moves in relationship to the blade.

my ex-JTS 10 i believe in the first pace has a riving knife...because it says in the manual...and because it moves with the blade..period.

guess you're right, I kept thinking that the when it doesn't lower for non through cuts like dadoes, that its a splitter kasi. I guess I was wrong. still these are good deals, and are the clamps committed to anyone yet?
