I have been receiving people wanting to sell and buy stuff.... let this be the place for us to trade and look for tools and things we need and want.
let us make rules for this so that it would be transparent for all.
1. when selling, post the actual picture of the item and the price. we are a small community still and it would be better to be friends.
2. reservations or first come first serve should also be indicated so people would know their place.
3. brandnew or used and a complete description of the item would be best.
4. pinoyhandyman is not liable for any items traded in this site...
if you have anything else to add, let me know so we can keep this site clean....

yes, nice to have you posting again, its been a while. welcome back... I guess we should just have to divide the trading corner to diy related and non-diy related. you never know what you need sometimes... but I'm open to a caucus regarding this. lncc, what is your take on this?

We can probably keep the for sale and looking for in one section . Just need a rule to add a prefix before every topic post
e.g.
for sale = FS Hence " FS: table saw ..."
looking for = LF Hence " LF: Table with xxx" ...."

You guys might have noticed that I expanded the Trading Corner already. Sorry Bee I did it before I saw your post. I've no preference really either way though the way I did it does seem more "normal" IMHO.
As for allowing non-DIY stuff, all I can say is I've always hated the "shotgun" marketing some sellers on eBay Philippines have been doing. Personally, I like knowing were to find what I want, find it, buy it, and get home to use it. Usually I use the Search function.
How about this: anything not found in the mall hardware store or the regular hardware stores are not allowed. ACE, Handyman, DIY, etc. have some sometimes out of place stuff but I guess if they can allocate shelf space for those things then they're good enough for us. One time I commented to a familiar cashier at Handyman that there were even selling ... sorry I forgot what it was ... anyway she replied, "Next we'll be selling hamburgers" :).
What I'd really like to see are the hardware stores, including the Binondo guys, posting their offerings here. Material vendors would also be most welcome too.

in reality very little isn't included in our trade. cars are part of us as well as houses, so I guess buy and selling these should be ok. I think. from nuts and bolts to hardwares to tools almost anything would be possible to be sold here. even electronics... so by that I guess one thread should be fine. read the looking for after I previous statement. nice work bro Louis...
