Re: Composting at home

Have you tried using anti-termite treatment on the soil?

Sorry, a little OT.

If that vacant lot is beside your house, baka mag-migrate back sa bahay mo ang anay. Also,if the compost na inanay is inside your property, you may want to have your property treated. Termites are nasty and resilient. Best to be cautious.

Re: Composting at home

Thank you.

Re: Composting at home

froilanr,

Anyway, going back to your topic of composting, you can start anew by buying those large or tall plastic drums with cover sold at some nearby market, then simply throw your kitchen wastes inside then top it with some amount of dried soil or dried fallen leaves from your backyard. And when your plastic drum is full of kitchen waste and other organic waste, buy again another plastic drum and just do the same procedure until you fill it up again then you buy another plastic drum. Using these plastic containers will prevent termite infestation on your compost bins and perhaps by reaching 5 or 7 drums, your first would have turned to a good source of decomposed garden fertilizers. 😉

Re: Composting at home

Tagalog nalang reply me.:) Kasi nag-no-nose bleed talaga ako kapag sinubok kong mag-english. Or siguro taglish...

Sir,
Or tubig!

Diba magkakaproblem if yung container ay walang butas?

Update:
I was able to search at nakita ko ito (Composting Made Easy With Bokashi). Meron na palang ganito sa atin bansa. No need ng butasin ang container!
