meron po bang nakaka-alam kung paano mapuksa ang leeches or linta sa garden?
nagsimula ito nung weekend lang after ng bagyong bebeng.
kapag dumilim na or gabi na, gumagapang na sila sa garage namin at minsan meron nakakapasok sa living room namin.

Just pray those leeches find their way back to where they belong.
Mice eat palay then mice gets eaten by snakes and snakes eaten by..well man.:p
what about leeches? i have a bs in biology and i forgot what animal will love leeches!

i've searched also sa google pero walang nabanggit na lason dito, panay paggawa lang ng traps.
tinatapakan ko na lang sila kapag nakakakita ako sa garage namin.
more than 15 leeches din a night ang napapatay since sunday.
i have no idea kung mamatay ang mga ito using malathion pesticide which are available sa ace hardwares.

maybe rock salt will help, I have used it to kill snails, or copper.

oh no no Malathion please..they are only for insects...and malathion are known to cause to liver failure and worst liver cancer later in life...inhalation of fumes is the means of transporting these harmful chemicals to the liver (not the lungs!) Parathion (the parent chemical) used to be the chemical they sprayed during world war2...and the effects are devastating..they say that those who succumbed to it died of their own filth (effects of the drug to cause diarrhea, salivation, excess sweating and urination, plus immediate effects on the heart and lungs).
leeches are not insects..and it may be worth trying salt..yes rock salt! they are good for garden snails..100% of the time.

buy a kilo of rock salt and its cheaper than a small bottle of malathion with no harmful effects to you and to the environment.
