Hi guys,

Any ideas?

The neighborhood cats are making our lawn their sort of toilet.

Medyo open kasi frontage namin so they come and go.

I've tried ammonia, seems to work but not that long. Also coffee grounds, parang its working for now but not really sure it really does.

Since I plan to develop the yard with some ground cover, would like to hear your opinions on this.

Thanks mga papi.

How big is your front lawn ? For one, you can cover your lawn with decorative concrete pavers and then surround it with ornamental potted plants. Another ,plant them with peanut plant or blue grass, this is the season perfect for planting , its always raining kaya madaling mabubuhay ang mga ito.

Mas malaki ang dog poop.
And at least yung pusa tinatabunan yun iniwan nya. Yung sa aso exposed. 🙂

hehehe may exposure rin ang cat poo pero im trying some things like used coffee grounds around the garden. that works daw. will be reviving my garden and will be doing some tilling. Cats love any soil they can dig in. So I might use mga sticks as a sort of small fence.

in our case, we patiently trained our pet dog Angel (4 months old labrador retriever) to pooh in a specific corner area of our backyard. it took us about 2 weeks to train her ... cheers

Boo!

This reminds me of the issue regarding the cats of BGC and Shangrila.

Cats will not go to the toilet in moist and dense soil, they love sand. It is good to eat fat sapropel or black soil - the cat will leave. The ground can be covered with a special net and a bit sprinkled on top - the cats will never walk there. You can decorate the flower bed with decorative sharp stones or large shells. If there is a hole in the fence, you need to close it up with its thorny branches (roses, wild rose). If you have an open space, you need to arrange a "borderline" (1-meter width of gravel and small sharp stones) cats do not like this band. Plus, you can plant cayenne pepper (hot chili pepper) or Coleus dog (Coleus Canina) - cats do not like the smell. All day work on the site must be performed in comfort work boots (only one pair!) like here , while it is important to dig a small container with a solution of ammonium nitrate. The layer of liquid should be one finger thick and it is important to soak the soles of this shoe several times a day. In this container, you can also add ammonia, stitches of cayenne pepper ...
