This thread is also in relation with my past thread regarding Garden Lawn maintenance.

Here I have some pics of my maintenance team, actually gas operated, battery operated and electric tools or machineries that I would always use in my Garden and Lawn maintenance, some purchased from Hans tools, others from online seller in Sulit.com and some from my friend tool supplier near our place. These various tools have helped me tremendously in my gardening and in the maintenance of my lawn and property, they have eased the job greatly and have saved me many working hours instead of doing the tasks manually. 😀

Meet my maintenance team:

These are assorted OZITO hedge trimmers, long and short, cordless and electric, used for trimming or cutting some bushes or hedgings.
Purchase them from an online seller and good friend, www.pyth.sulit.com.

Re: My GARDEN and LAWN maintenance team

Meet my maintenance team: 😀

The McCULLOCH home owner power saw I use for cutting fire wood and specially during and after a strong typhoons trimming or cutting large fallen tree branches. The two blower and vacuum tools, McCULLOCH and TALON, I use them for clean ups of my surroundings. By the way the Pro MAC power saw is from HANS Tools, the McCULLOCH blower/vacuum is from www.pyth.sulit.com and the TALON blower/vacuum is from another online seller, www.dettedoromal.sulit.com.
I forgot to include here also pic of an electric OZITO blower/vacuum, my son was using it when I was having this photo session, so sorry.

Re: My GARDEN and LAWN maintenance team

@ JayL,
Oh yes bro, with a large lawn and plenty of plants and trees like mine, a simple large scissor or bolo or shear will not suffice, it will take me days or a week to do my maintenance work, well it has become already my hobby and passion in doing these chores. Yes I have a friend helper where we have one each grass cutter to use to make the tasks faster, eventually I will be loosing him in a few weeks or so because he'll be training for MIG and TIG welding in Batangas, sa EEI company for 6 months. He's the guy that I have been mentioning in my previous replies that I have encouraged to take up welding lessons from TESDA, and now he is an NC1 and NC2 certified welder with a liscence. OOOOPPPS out of topic na yata.

Re: My GARDEN and LAWN maintenance team

Thanks Jon, yes they ( the tools ) great maintenance tools, not so expensive tools, what's important is that they do the job right for me, I just take good care and do maintenance to these machines too periodically after each use.

Re: My GARDEN and LAWN maintenance team

wow very tidy lawn, ang ganda pa ng mix ng grass and dried leaves. how do you keep weeds from growing? kami ang gamit lang namin isang creston na line cutter. pero nakakapagod pa rin lalo na pag rainy season, tubo ng tubo ang weeds. im really considering applying mulch when time and budget permits.

Re: My GARDEN and LAWN maintenance team

Re: My GARDEN and LAWN maintenance team

@ Ashock,

Bro I don't use a lawn mower on my lawn, I'd rather use line trimmers and bladed grass cutters, they are easier and faster to use. The carabao grass and the peanut plants here grows on natural ground, meaning they grow following the natural terrain of the land, no top soil or garden soil were applied to taper the landscape. :p 🙂

I would love to have these STIHL grass cutter products but they are so expensive, I have shopped around the big hardwares like WILCON, Ortigas Home Depots ,Fedetal , HANS and True Value sa shang and their prices are really steep but someday I'll have a unit or two of those weed eaters/wackers as they call it.

So for now I have settled for the RYOBIs and the McCULLOCHs, these are also good brands. The RYOBIs, plenty in the market nowadays and very much cheaper than the American brands.
Ang sakit lang ng RYOBI line or grass cutters ay yung starter mechanism ng engine, pag matagal ng nagagamit the starter pullcord will start to slip making it hard to start the small engine, 😡 luckily I have an after sale service from my tool supplier here near us and have serviced already two units for free.

With regards to the nylon lines that I use, I have replaced the original nylon size of 1.5 or 2.0mm to a more thicker round size that is a 3.0mm nylon line or sometimes 3.5mm nylon line.
