Oh yes the HONDA brushcutter is a very good brand too same as TANAKA and ZENOAH and KAWASAKI too, they are all made in Japan and they costs 14K + each and more if purchased brand new.

McCULLOCHs and RYOBIs are quite pricy too if purchased brand new but the ones I'm using were purchased a bit cheaper from pyth. Using any brand may it be from USA, GERMANY, MEXICO, ITALY or CHINA will depend on the end user, if one takes good care of his tools and regularly do maintenance check up then the said tool or engine will last him a lifetime.

wow!!!!!! mas na-amazed ako sa laki ng lawn mo Rosy., grabe ang laki at ang ganda, dapat lang talaga mag ipon ka ng team to help you maintain such huge area. I've been to Baras twice the last two weekends. Very nice town and vey close to nature.

Yes BARAS is a quiet small town and very provincial or bucolic, marami pa rin na punong kahoy dito sa area namin plus mura pa rin ang bilihin dito sa part of Eastern Rizal compared to Antipolo or Cainta or Marikina. :p

Bro where are you from and howcome napapagawi ka dito sa Baras ? Bro pag napasyal ka dito sa Baras daan ka rito sa place ko and let's have some cups of coffee or a few drinks of iced tea, pm me a day before of your schedule for Sunday. 😉 :welcome:

he he thanks Rosy.Dito lang ako likod ng SM masinag, Antipolo. The past weeks na puro ulan i decided na mag gala taking Cogeo-Infanta road then to Sampaloc, Tanay up to Paete Laguna. On the way back I took Baras proper to Antipolo. Bumalik ako last week up to Palo Alto but there was a landslide in the area but instead na bumalik ng Antipolo i took the Baras Pinugay road, grabe ang rough road and kakatakot but ok na ng lumabas ng hi-way. I hope you're in that vicinity bro. Sure puntahan kita one of these days. Thanks sa invitation.

Pupwede bro, that will be your choice in having your lawn untrimmed or well maintained BUT, with a big BUT, If you prefer your lawn to look nice and clean then I guess you have to trim the grass around your house or backyard kasi overgrow grass lawns tend to be where snakes would linger and would love to hunt for food like frogs or mice plus snakes travel fast on grass. 😮

Yes it is truly arm wrecking trimming lawn grass manually coz I've done it and it takes so long to finish the job that is why I decided to buy and try line trimmers even though its not the real branded one. Using these line trimmers for cutting overgrown grass has become easier and faster for me and also for my helper/gardener. :p 🙂

Now with regards to watering you lawn specially your bermuda or blue grass, yes you should water it daily, kung pwede e twice a day pa nga coz this kind of ground covers are water hungry kind of grass and are very sensitive to hot season, unlike the carabao grass which is more sturdier during summer seasons but them bermudas, they easily turn brown when summer season steps in and needs also to be fertilized regularly, let's say every 15 days. 😀

thanks rosy.kasi naimagine ko kung gano kalawak ang ittrim ko.waaa. you mean ang bluegrass at bermuda grass pag di mo tnrim tumataas sila ng lets say like a weed? or like 5 inches in height? i guess kung pantay naman ang tubo ok lang.kasi tinry ko mag putol as in 3 meters pa lang nangawi na ko 🙂

about sa watering, omg as in ganun dapat ka dalas?bakit kaya sa google almost lahat ng tips is hindi daw dapat frequent.anyway thanks sa tips

Bro with regards to watering, pre, we live in the tropics, mainit dito sa pinas unlike in the states or any part of Europe or some parts of Asia na may snow, malamig sa kanila and water evaporation is at minimal.

Sa Baguio, maganda mga halaman kasi malamig at sagana sa ulan but dito sa lower part of Luzon or Visayas, medyo tindi minsan ng init plus sometimes kulang ng ulan.

Carabao grass naman yun tinanim ko di masyado matakaw sa maintenance pero since tag ulan 2-3 weeks dapat pasadahan na uli ng gupit. Maganda tingnan ang grass lalo pag bagong gupit at kakaulan pa lang.

Hey Bro rony,

Pics are already posted on the same thread, I think its post # 4, pictures of the Line trimmers and Grass cutters are there. Prices vary or differs from seller to seller. If you are interested on a line trimmer I would definitely recommend getting a McCULLOCH brand, I personally like their small engines, can easily be maintained, has good reputation abroad with their garden tools.

I think one of our member here is selling one at sulit, pyth.sulit.com.ph, you can check it out. I get my Macs from him. Anyway if its not available anymore maybe you can check out DIY stores, they now carry the RYOBI line trimmers and they are fairly priced and very affordable compared to other branded line trimmers from Japan or Europe. Well maybe someday I can get a hand on those branded grass trimmers, ang mamahal kasi e, 10,000 K and above ang isa.

Well lucky for me that I was able to have a McCULLOCH brand, got it for a much cheaper price from PYTH. :p 😉

Bro, with regards to your carabao grass, hayaan mo nuna silang lumaki at kumapal para kumalat pa and then that's the time to trim them, sigurado yan maganda lalabas sa lawn mo, plus if possible you fertilize your lawn once a month para intense ang pagka green ng carabao grass pag tumubo uli. 😀 :laughbounce:
