Look with 2 fans/motors for stronger exhaust air, don't settle on recirculation mode so you will need a flexible aluminum duct going to outside.

we (mostly my wife 🙂 he he he) use the ELBA brand for so many years (8+ years) and never had any problems with it. we bought it together with the countertop stove as a set. it has 2 fans and as what Bogie67 mentioned, it's a recirculation mode - can't use the aluminum duct in our kitchen before as the range hood is mounted quite far from the ceiling. i just clean the filter once a week and i have 3 set of the filter which i just keep on rotating for a quick change 🙂 ... cheers

Boo!

On recirculation mode, the hood removes oil and odor on air. Aluminum filter removes oil and activated carbon filter removes odor. This activated carbon filter is not available on popular hardware store, so common complaint is range hood doesn't work. There are many ways to concealed the aluminum duct if you try. Don't cook dried fish using hood!

We have the GE Hood Range at home. It works great.
