nice choice sir... 🙂

Bro I tested their service center also before deciding. I tried to call them and see how responsive they would be. Seems like they do know what they are doing.

Solar ... anyone?

This is one of the cheaper (if not cheapest) ones, 'Mercury' brand, supposedly made in Korea. Various sizes, starts at P18.5K for 100 L. Hard to decipher the manual, but seems to be working OK ... two years so far.

You'll have to do breakeven or ROI calculations and maybe bring in 'intangibles'.

Roger bro .... I'd go Panasonic na. Tks

DH-6GM1P
6.0 kw
needs 30A breaker
9.5K pesos w/ free install as of this posting

Would a 30A breaker be enough for a 6kW heater? If I remember my high school electricity classes, 6000W on 220V is about 27A.

I would love to go green Guad, unfortunately the condo doesn't have room for that since there are 10 more floors above me before I get to the roof :diver:

Re: What brand of Water Heater would you recommend?

SWMBO got Panasonic 6kW for kid's bathroom and 8kW multipoint for our bathroom. But installer said susunugin raw ang wires namin ng 8kW so she's replacing it with6kW.

Re: What brand of Water Heater would you recommend?

Been using my Panasonic multipoint water heater but not very happy.

My problem is that it swings from hot to cold within one short shower session. It seems that the thermostat opens when water gets too hot, allowing it to cool a bit (and thereby regulate temp) but it does not close the circuit quick enough.

Tried setting it in Low, Medium, and High but same result.

Any suggestions?

Do you think something's wrong with it?

I've installed a multi point in a condo and so far I've had no complaints from the tenant.

Re: What brand of Water Heater would you recommend?

Yes. My old water heater (Champs) which broke down already would stay only in one temperature. I would turn the shower dial to the desired mix of hot & cold and throughout, the water is at the temperature I set.
