Re: My DIY Concrete Mouldings Creation
Ang galeeng..ang husay ng talent. Kelangan dito ng steady hands habang gina-glide yung molde sa semento. I was able to watched this process sa contractor ko nung ginawa ang bahay ko 3 years ago. Ibang klaseng skill meron itong si ossie.
Re: My DIY Concrete Mouldings Creation
@armand,
thank you. you also need a loootttttttttt of patience especially when you only starting to do this kind of work. its hard to make this mouldings, but...afterwards, seeing your creation mounted on the windows, wall etc, wow! tanggal ang pagod hehe
@jay,
yes, ako lahat gumawa and freehand with angle bar as my guide for straight mouldings. and in curved mouldings, you need a plywood with the same shape as your guide too.
yes, its Channellock plier. familiar pala sa iyo ang kulay ha? hehehe
before i made this concrete mouldings, im really fan of wood mouldings. did also checked for the mall router price, but they have no router bits and also they are really pricey hehehe and cannot find the bits i need locally...
then, na challenge ako, why not concrete mouldings?

but they have no router bits and also they are really pricey hehehe and cannot find the bits i need locally...hindi ko alam na madami pala sa binondo hehe
then, na challenge ako, why not concrete mouldings? you only need cement, sand, metal bar and lots of patience hehe
then i found a lot of wood moulding designs in the internet, modified the design and made a scraper.
i remember asking timber715 if where i can find a railing localy to make my work easy and smoothly, still i end up using the angle bar as a guide.
the time i met timber715 thru TPC (on his thread), medyo nawala na yung hilig ko sa wood mouldings coz maybe im
doing concrete moulding that time...sayang nga e hehe
i even attended the fiberglass class, my plan is to make mouldings made from fiberglass which is lightweight...hindi ko kaya ang kati ng dulot ng fiber, lalo na kung gina grind mo na...
si JAY ang pasimuno ng lahat kaya nasa welding naman ako hehehe
