latest wips or updates on the door projects...
sir apol did most of the works, especailly when powertools are used...
i did help on some of the mano mano especially sa pag-papait...

those are beefy bandsaws, parang muscle cars, forgot the names... i think 3 ata bandsaw ni sir willyF,...up to 3" blade...
pasyal ka dito !!!

9' H x almost 10' W ang dimension nya brad...
sa church na ito i-assemble, but some of the frame will be pre-assemble ( frame glued ) before dalin sa destination...
malabo magkasya sa pick-up, may mahihiraman akong L300, puede naman daw magkasya duon...

unfortunate for me, tinapos na ni apol ang frame ng door...
he had already applied the sealer ( sprayed )...
and the frame are ready to be installed.
anyway, next is stage two ,of the church door build, which is building the two doors...
but of course with the help of the expert himself, apol.

i measured the thickness of the panel and the rails...
the panel 7/8...almost 1"

rosy and i have a brief chat with sir willyfernado, and it has been a very fruitful coversation.
we,ve learned a lot from sir willyF...bad thing is hindi man lang ako nakakuha ng pictures namin.

Ang nagawa ko lang, naki-kain sa baon ni jon and rosy. BTW, superb ang thor-ta ni jon tsaka yung chicken wings ni rosy!

We had a fine and fun time at the shop of bro WillyF's woodshop though wala na kaming naitulong, ka Apol, the trusted master woodworker/carpenter/electrician/auto mechanic of bro willyF, did everything already, so what we did was to just drool over at the stocks of african Iroko at mamangha sa mga machineries ni bro WillyF, HANEP !!!, ang lalaki ng mga motor, really for industrial and commercial applications. Well bro joey81 was so kind enough to lend his new Yamato DC welder so that ka Apol can try to practice with it plus joey's son, Raffy too naki welding narin. But the father and son have to live earlier for some other appointments with the mommy, hehehe, so we waited for bro WillyF to arrive. :p

Yes Jon and I had a very long and fruitful conversation with the main man, we talked about tools, machineries, business, goals and his humble beginnings, his passions and dedication to woodworking and so many more , we learned a lot really from this very sensible and practical and down to earth person, bro WillyF, SALAMAT PO, MARAMING SALAMAT PO, you opened our eyes on so many things. 😉 😀

Hope to see you again this coming Saturday in your shop !!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
