They probably paint their post/s to break the monotony in their room/s or to match it
with certain motifs or designs attached to a wall. Its not just painting the post/s that you
can do, you may install some bricks or apply some fine or medium size pebble washouts
to make your post/s stand out, it can be white, beige, or black. By doing so will give
texture to your post.
You may also try installing tiles applied diagonally to give it a different look, you might even have some fun and great time while installing the tiles as you have envisioned the outcome of the said projec
