That will depend on the thickness of your aluminum composite. If they are the thin type about gauge 18, 20, or 26, probably you can use your hand tool snips. But if its gonna be thicker you have to have an electric shear or a jig saw, lets say up to gauge 14 but for more thicker ones, say 3/16" or 1/4" and above, it will need already a very special mechanized precision cutter with a carbide tip blades. 😉
Say a circular saw with carbide tip blades.

Try researching it in the net or Google search mo, I'm pretty sure you will find the answer you seek. :rolleyes:

None ferrous saw blade triple chip grind. Yung tip alternate trapezoid and flat. The thicker the better against sound and force. To make bends router bits vee cutter for sharp folds or round tip for soft bends. Make yourself a bending tool made of aluminium angle extrusions. Iwasang pukpukin halata ang tama.

Installed a few machines for processing said material.

Naku malabo yata. Kasi ang action ng Jig saw is similar sa lagereng bakal (Hack Saw) or Band Saw. magkakaroon ng tearing sa aluminium which could delaminate the neoprene core plus following a line with a jig saw is an art form meaning it will not be straight. I wouldnt recommend it. The minimum equipment to cut should be a circular saw with a fine TCT blade.

@ stambudu... bakit di mo subukan? merong jigsaw blade for cutting none ferrous metal... maghanap ka ng scrap na aluminum composite panel. saka lagariin mo sa jigsaw mo. gumamit ka lang ng guide para straight... router man o circular saw ang gamitin, hindi rin straight kung walang guide.

Bro, fortnapz has a point there, the only secret there is the straight edge guide whether for a jig saw, an ordinary circular saw or a worm drive circular saw or a router unless you will have curves to cut that you have to use freehand but otherwise it is still the straight edge guide, or the track.

Sorry, that reply was incomplete was also wrenching my hobby, anyway there are a few issues when using a track guide on alucobond first the blade should show the full gullet of the blade to allow chip evacuation with that in mind you will need a hard foam board para patungan ng aluminium. Dahil di pwede rin ipatong lang sa saw horse madaling magbakat ang dents. With a track guide you also have to clamp the track on the panel again if not careful, dents.

Attach the circular or router under a 1/2" 4x8 plywood and make a rip fence. This will allow you set the fence and do slide cuts like a table saw.

i have tried on 3mm ACP pina bagsak ko.. its perfectly cut edge. no bend im not sure if in 4mm thick havent tried it yet.

Does any on have a Bending tool for ACP? we just used Hands to bend it manually. it works well just be careful it might tear.

Installed a cnc on a shop, heres what i saw. They used an aluminium profile that has a slot that fits the thickness of the panel of different lenghts to bend a corner. For column cladding they used a sheet rolling bender. For cutting they use the following.:
Cnc mounted Circular saw
Cnc Router
Cabinet saw
Jig saw
Shears (gunting ng yero)

Apologies, I stand corrected, you can use jig saws.
