hehehe, bigyan kita one more thing to do brader. Lagyan mo pa ng isang bowtie sa ilalim ng board to improve the holding power. Para hindi rin sya mag-twist when it moves....
tumber 2000 ha?:office: hehehehehe

Re: Stair Rails DIY

nice wips as always!

btw..

can't the regular silicone sealant hold the slabs in place? instead of using lagbolts? i am sure drilling 12mm for the expansion bolts did give some vibratory injury to ligaments and in and out the joints of the hand.

cant do this anymore kasi.

hindi ba pwede isang bowtie inlay na lang para sa crack?

Re: DIY Stair rails

@chisel,

selley's is expensive but there are other cheaper brands basta interior and exterior clear silicone would be ok...if we use sillicone then we get rid of the lag bolts and plugs for the forstner recess..but sometimes the recesses are a little touch of design itself..there is a plus either way bro..

for the moisture..id be content applying solignum first to the material..dry then apply a sanding sealer..kung poly naman kasi matagal matuyo unless its the water based one.

but i love your work..its painstaking labour.

reward your body once in a while..

massage and or spa..hehe
