Hi everyone.
I recently purchased a 1.0 x 2.1 meter solid panel door for my main entrance made of tangible and it's quite heavy. Perhaps someone can give advise regarding what brand of door hinge is quite durable. I saw some Stanley's, creston and Schlages in Wilson and Home Depot. Are there any other better brands out there?
Thanks.

i think any of the branded hinges will do base on your taste and preference. consider using a stainless steel hinges. i saw some Hafele stainless steel hinges here in marbel which looks very durable as it's really thick ... what is more important is the number of hinges that you will use for your door since it's quite big. most hinges are sold in 2 or 3 pcs per set. better talk to your foreman to determine how many hinges are required for your door, most likely it will be 4 pcs ... cheers

Boo!

Why not fabricate or have a shop fabricate a heavy duty hinge. I saw in a local hardware store cyclinders that fit each other and is used to fabricate hinges. It comes in different sizes so you can choose the right size for your door/gate.
