Re: exterior ceiling

1/4 " should be fine, or also consider using ficem board since its waterproof and termite proof.

Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.

Re: exterior ceiling

I read many threads in cutting ficem. Most of the time di ko ma afford yung mga tools, I don't like the finish product using scoring knife. Until it came to my mind to use my jigsaw and the aluminum blade I bought to cut my polycarbonate.

First attempt to cut a ficem board.

My trusted Stanley jigsaw in action.

With a steady hand the results is acceptable.

Re: exterior ceiling

Test fit.

Almost completed product.

I did this about once a week mostly Sunday's.

With the help of my trusted clamps and lots of strength I intended to finish this before rainy days

Re: exterior ceiling

Totoo sobra bigat po, buti lang its a 3.5mm. I'm doing it for fun lang weekend and holidays. I've heard the PVC ceiling, kaso ala po ako info di ko alam kung ano mas ok and pasok sa budget.
