Re: Glass & Glazing Works

Let me start.

Metal/Glass Adhesive. You need a UV light to cure the adhesive.

Sample application of this adhesive is when I attached the top glass to the slanted stainless steel post of this reception table.

If the shower enclosure is frameless minimum thickness of glass is 3/8" (10mm) and need to be tempered. Yun mga hardware/fitting are available sa mga glass & aluminum supplier marami dyan sa may CM Recto.

Sir, minimum thickness is 3/8" tempered glass? may mairerecommend ba kayong glass supplier? i-DIY ko lang ito sayang labor kasi. :D:D

ganitong set-up kasi gagawin ko.

sa kabilang side nga lang yung door.

Dimension is 1800mm (H) x 1250mm (W)

You need the ff:
Wall - Glass Hinges
Glass Clamp
Reinforcement fittings
Tempered Glass
Handle

Sample of fittings

Tools required:
Hammer Drill with 6mm & 8mm masonry bit
Allen Wrench
Vacuum Sucker - pang lift ng glass

You will need some assistance pag mag DIY ka and extra care in handling glass.

Each glass panel weighs around 30-48 kg (1/2" thick tempered glass).

Stainless steel top rail na lang ang kulang. Hole on the upper portion of the glass is for the bracket that will hold the top rail.

Re: Glass & Glazing Works

Update on my glass railing project. Stainless steel tubular 1" x 2" x 1.5mm thick T-304 already installed. Stainless rail bracket used to hold the tubular on the glass panel.

Now I feel relaxed... this project stopped me in joining the Bosch Woodworking contest. I can now start my wooden toolbox..... 🙂
