Hi! You can still use drywall on toilets and bathrooms like in the US and Canada. I have used tiles or a tile board on drywall. The tiles are more labor intensive than a Tile Board that measures 4 feet by 8 feet. Tiles look way better than a tile board if done right. You can also use putty in between tiles but I prefer to use silicon white glue in a tube since this will easily dry up after applying it. Then you can use the bathroom after an hour or two. Concrete walls are way more labor intensive than a drywall and concrete takes too much time to dry. Just imagine, constructing a toilet and bathroom with drywalls in a wooden floor. I can do it in three days alone without assistance. The most difficult part is the plumbing if there is no initial plumbing in preparation for installing a Toilet and Bath in the said location and may take an extra day otherwise it is easy. First day, I will do the floor, walls, ceiling and doors including the initial first coat of painting. The trick to doing these fast is to use the right power tools to do the job. Use a cordless nailer if using wood. Use a cordless drill and and an auto feed cordless screwdriver. Be amazed that you can do it in half a day. Second day, do the electrical, vents, window and plumbing followed by second coat of painting. Third day would be the tiles and finishing touches.... Done in three days and took a bath at the end of the third day in a newly built toilet and bathroom..
