The LE1 is expensive 🙂 ... the cost of 1 slave node I'm planning on doing is around 350.00 pesos, 500.00 at the most $6 USD just for the SoC is way out of the product cost I'm looking at. There are a lot of other options out there for electronic parts.

It's home security system with main control panel, triggered by door/window sensors and PIR motion sensors. It's very easy to install. You can control the system through android phone applications, or through text or call. The control panel is connected to a loud siren. Aside from built-in and existing features, in some units there are available DC outputs which you can use to trigger relay switching to control your appliances at home. It just need a little work to suit your needs.
I am looking forward to receive this product and I will give my feedback.
