Just to cost-estimate a design?
Direct cost, puede mong ipa-estimate kahit sa architectural or CE student with a copy of Max Fajardo,
a calculator, and some free time. Basta you have a clear idea already of the finished work. If you get
a licensed professional to do it, well ... I'm not a CE but I'd probably charge .5 to 1% of project cost,
to prepare a detailed cost/time estimate.

If you go with a rough (shell) estimate by a student...
You will have to plug in specialty treatments (tile finishes and stuff), kasi you will have a better idea of
what the materials will be, and can get the vendors to provide sub-estimates. Take the total and add
10% for unanticipated miscellany. Count on 40-70% patong ng contractor who will execute renovation,
which, if the contractor is good, is worth every peso: you can easily exceed 100% in excess cost if you
don't have the experience, efficiency and vendor-contacts of a real contractor.

JME, YMMV.

Re: house renovation cost..

Cost will depend according to your project... If you want to renovate just a single floor then the cost is less, If you want to renovate 2 floors then the cost will increase and if you want to renovate your complete house then it will cost more...
