Hi,
Is the formula P(wattage)=I(amp)V(voltage) the right one to use for computation of load capacity? I'm trying to compute the total amp needed if let say it will be used to light up 50 units of 32 watts LED lamp lights... when using the above formula, a 15 amp circuit is more than enough.. is this correct? thanks...

If you have 50 units x 32W that will be = 1600W
I (amp) = 1600/230V = 6.96A
15A CB protection will be enough.
Take note that you need also to compute the wire size. & specify the size of conduit to be used. In a 1/2" conduit I think 5 wires of GA12 will maximum.
Get a book at National Bookstore "Electrical Design & Estimate". Color: Yellow & Black. Eto refence ko in design & load schedule computation. May tables & chart kse na ginagamit to get the wire, conduit sizes & CB.

sir bryant,
Thank you very much.. you are indeed a lot of help...
