i was putting the last accoutrements on the t&b when this price label infuriated me coz the label is stuck and had a hard time removing all that is left when the label was peeled (by a knife.)

i was thinking to use the 3M sticker glue remover but fearing its xylene based its going to melt the plastic!

Pwede rin pencil eraser. The Staedtler types na smooth, not the gray ones (Rabbit?) that contain abrasives.

Have always maintained that should be forced to remove the labels, tape, wrapping, etc. on the items that they sell. If they were forced to experience what the customer experiences, they might get their underlings to do something about it.
e.g., Henry Sy, Socorro Ramos (National Bookstore), etc.
On the other hand, if price tags were easy to remove, there would less deterrent to crime (customers switching tags). So if tags are intentionally hard to remove for cultural reasons, that part of the problem may be understandable.
Store people also seem to have a tendency to stick price tags directly over important info on the product label.
But these pale in comparison to what gets unleashed when I am told that it is 'not allowed' to record the prices on (publicly visible) price tags. Another 'only in the Philippines'? Thankfully, this nonsense does not happen often, but it does happen.
