Re: smoke/heat detectors

I have a smoke detector in my loft which has cathedral ceilings and the heat sometimes gives false alarms. Anything I can do to minimize false alarms?

Re: smoke/heat detectors

false alarms really happens but in that case most smoke detectors now has the false alarm button which when pressed quiets unwanted alarms for atleast 15mins. That's why some households finds them annoying.Or sometimes, they give the alarm due to some interruption on their AC supply or a weak battery.

Re: smoke/heat detectors

Installed these dual sensor (ionization + photoelectric) detectors some years ago and so far so good:
First Alert SA320CN

Looking to get more now, either dual sensor as before, or photoelectric like these:
SA710CN
P1000
SA511CN2-3ST

Anyone know if these or similar/good quality alarms are available locally? Last I checked (not recently), all that were available were ionization type and usually expensive (compared to online prices).

What kind of detectors (if any -- does building/fire code require?) typically get installed in new construction of homes and small/medium size buildings locally? Hardwired 220 V and ionization type? Brands?

As for the mj be careful you may lose your job and try your luck on the job market after you failed the random drug test. You can prepare for the test with the help of this guide https://www.ouchclub.com .

What is the reason to smoke marijuana at your workplace? As I know this is the way to relax in your free time. But at work, you have to be concentrated and result-oriented.

I also do not understand what a pleasure to smoke at work? It's a ritual for me. And everything that is related to hemp is more like a hobby. I get the pleasure of growing for example, and from the result that I get. For example, recently I talked to specialists from https://en.konoplisemena.com who gave me a lot of new advice about the selection and cultivation of quality bushes. That's an interesting subject, if you are clever person. But just smoking at work is already closer to drug-addiction.

I install smoke detecor in every room of my house and my office. And since the time when I gave up smoking at all I have no problems now with cigarettes and fire alarm. I am using Levapor vape( https://www.mylevapor.com/ ) now but all these detectors don't react because of vaping, you can use it everywhere, that's why it is so useful.

I would suggest you to get air purifier https://homeairadvisor.com/best-air-purifier-for-cigarette-smoke/ . I used that kind of staff which costs just 90$ and it helped a lot. We underestimate the harm that poor indoor air quality can do but trust me investing in a good air purifier can make that much of a difference. And i wanna say that smoke detector is the most useless thing that i have ever seen.
