Hello, Pinoyhandyman.

I saw this online and I really like its minimalist style buy with full functionality for a really small room.

Honestly, I don't have any know-how sa woodworking and all, so my follow-up questions below may not be the exact terminologies. So, please bear with me.

Questions:
3. I don't know what to ask na hehehe. . .kayo nalang po mag add-up kung may idea kayong maidagdag. hehehe

Re: Space Saving Room Design Help

That false floor has to be stiff para it won't deflect (bend) and rest on the bed. Most engineers (and possibly carpenters) would know what to do, possibly with metal support. The top is probably one of those laminate flooring you will see at Wilcon. The photo shows a kitchen/breakfast nook so it would be a high-traffic area so you'd best get some good quality laminate flooring.

Or is that granite I see on the photo? If it is, then you'd need some fairly strong support.

There are various ways of connecting a cabinet to a wall. Many of us here use a keyhole bolt hanger. Google it and you'll see lots of photos.

Or, you can go to your local Wilcon and ask for some help. The ones I go to seem to have knowledgable staff (Marcos Hiway and Libis).

There is a member here who does this for a living and turns out excellent work: bryant77

I'm sure he can offer much better advise than I.

That's a nice studio condo unit idea. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your response, balarila.

I'd love to check our nearest Wilcon in our location. Furthermore, I'd go ahead and check out Mr Bryant77. That's a great heads-up you've given me, and I truly appreciate it.

The house I moved in appears to need a lot of renovation, and part of it is attaching a false wall. How can we easily detach the false walls without damaging the original walls? Or, is this something we can't do at all?

Thank you so much for your response and output.

Sam

Re: Space Saving Room Design Help

Questions:
- We call it raised flooring. On our past project we used 2x8 solid wood for the floor joist and also 2x8 wood stand to elevate the flooring. 12" spacing between the wood. 3/4" Marine plywood on top.
You can use heavy tile adhesive if your planning tile it.

- We are using cabinet suspension fitting, key holes fastener even tox & screw will do.

3. I don't know what to ask na hehehe. . .kayo nalang po mag add-up kung may idea kayong maidagdag. hehehe
- Hehehehe

Thank you for the response, sir @bryant77. At least I know the term now. Here's what I'd do. I will create a design for the house, and I will post it here. You are the best!!! Salamat po.

You can congratulate me - now I am a happy owner of a condo! I've purchased some space here. Though the building is under construction yet, I've made a long-term investment I guess. My kids will be especially happy.
