IMHO, I will not use C-purlins, masyadong manipis ang walls nila plus not stableconsidering the weight it will carry, like the wood flooring, furnitures, drawers/cabinets and whatever.

You may opt for a c-channel, this has a thicker wall at mas matibay, mas matatag, but much expensive than the c-purlins. Or you can use 4 X 4 or 2 X 6 H-beams/I-beams. Pwede kang magpa fabricate nyan sa isang steel welder/fabricator, and this will last you a lifetime, just give them the right specs. 😉

Yun pala C Channel dapat. yung tinanong ko hindi nagkakalayo sa kahoy ang price.
yung kahoy 2x6x12 is around 500 yung c channel e 921 pero 21ft. Im thinking of putting an angle bar dun sa likod ng c channel para maging I beam.hehe. maganda sana kahoy kaya lang prone sa anay at hindi na maganda mga kahoy na benta, pati sa mga 2nd hand wood store wala ng mga mahahaba.

Yes that is very true, maganda nga ang kahoy but that was then before but since good wood supplies this days are hard to find anymore, that is why people are using steel in house constructions specially if we are talking of roofing frames.
