hello PHM!

WALL FENCE & FOOTING::

pagdating sa footing ng wall fence, ano po ba dapat ang spacing naman ng steel reinforcement? {yung vertical ties (stirrup pa rin ba tawag dun?) at yung horizontal reinforcement}

maraming salamat!

My say to this :

First, what is the height of your proposed concrete fence ?

Make the skeleton (re-bar reinforcement, stirrup rings) of your post 20 X 20 cm and the forma nosing of 2", you'll end up having a 10 x 10 inch post to support your free standing 5" thick fence.

For the vertical reinforcement you may use the 12 mm or 16 mm corrugated bars, 20 mm is too over kill. For the stirrups or sing-sing, its usually the 10 mm corrugated steel bars.

And for the steel reinforcements, spacings of the rings starts with 15 cm (6") apart and then 30 cm (12") onwards.

For the footing, ang parilya mo ay 60 x 60 cm using 10 mm steel bars with 2 inside bars, vertical and horizontal w/ spacing of 20 cm apart.

WALL FENCE & FOOTING::

My say to this :

Spacing of each post is 3 meters apart, now the footing of the CHB will be 2pcs of 10 mm bars, 6" apart to be placed on the trench with the concrete mix. The 2 pcs of horizontal bars will also be fitted with 6" connecting bars at 30cm apart. lalabas sya na parang maliit at mahabang hagdan.

Vertical reinforcement is placed 1 meter apart using 12 mm corrug. steel bars, the end part tied to the wall fence footing.

Horizontal bars are placed after each 3 pieces of CHB has been placed pataas (kamada) using 10 mm corrugated steel bars.

maraming salamat!

Hope this helps !! :attack: :whistle:

napakaraming salamat sir rosy!

Yup, that is how it is always done and the bended corr. bar measures 10 cm, hinde kuna ibinigay ang detalye kasi alam na yan ng kantero na gagawa. By the way with regards to the reinforcement steel bars in the trench, the tie in bars will measure 6" plus additional 2" bended on both ends na parang semi letter U or V.

From the ground surface, lalim ng post or column footing is 1 m or 1.20 m. For the CHB footing, trench will be
