Re: T&B with tub
built in cabinets can be made offsite as long as you are aware of the correct dimensions... angle finders are available from expensive to very cheap...
I read somewhere that carpenters undercut the molding's edge by a small degree.
yes we need to be the one to adjust to their faults..anyway, i think that is acceptable.its just that i was lazy to to go up and down the ladder and to do trial and error with the miter adjustment hehe..it seems like the extra work between correcting the gap with putty and adjusting the miter till i get the perfect fit is but equal:confused:
the gap is fixed and already painted as of this writing.

V ... that is what I found out too. More often than not you can't trust carpentry and masonry work here in terms of squareness et al ....
We did a wardrobe cabinet before. Cut all plywood etc in the TS and everything as square as I can make it only to find out that I have fitting problems when I was installing it against the wall because I pre assembled the cabinet.
Succeeding jobs I just let the carpenters go their way. Build as they go along.:(
Well said. Ganun na talaga sa Pinas eversince.
I believe almost all of us had a few of these type of sad experiences. A lesson unfortunately has to borne by us. (lalot kadalasan pakyaw mga trabaho nila...>:( )
