can anyone help me with who I can contact to have windows tinted. Thanks
Re: tinting windows
you can contact any glass and aluminum supplier, they usually offer this service. but if you want to do it yourself, you can buy the sticker from depots and apply it yourself.
anyway, maybe this supplier can help you with your requirement:

Re: tinting windows
I think there are dealers for V-Kool, made in Singapore, which is designed for cars but I was told has also been applied to building windows. 60 inches wide, sold at P200-P280/linear inch depending on model, which comes out to P480-P672/sq.ft.
There is also a local distributor for IQue, which is V-Kool's line of film intended for buildings. Cost range is P650-P700/sq.ft.

For example, here are the specs of IQue's 53GII film:
http://www.iquefilms.com/GenerationII.asp
Infrared rejection 96.0%
Visible light transmission 58.0%
Visible light reflectance 7.0%
UV rejection 99.0%
Total solar energy rejection 59.0%
Solar heat gain coefficient 0.44
Luminous efficacy 1.20
Shading coefficient 0.47
Emissivity 0.56
U-value (BTU/h-ft^2-F) 1.03
There is also a local distributor of the films made by a Malaysian company:

Their solar film is sold at $100/roll of 1.5 x 30 m, which comes out to $2.22/sq.m or $0.2066/sq.ft. However, they have not been able to provide me with specs.
Does anyone have specs on other film, for comparison?
