hi to all masters of this thread.
i purchased a light switch sensor from amazon and I just realized that its a 110V. is there a way that. we can use this? unfortunately i'm not too familiar with amp/voltage requirement for 220. in case i wont be able to use that. i have another specs here will it work for 220v? or for what we have standard voltage here in PI?

Re: Using 110w light switch
am a newbie also, have not yet introduce myself yet but would one day....
from your description, it is a sensor which means it has circuitry designed to run in 110 V, buy a small transformer with capacity a bit higher than the Incandescent load. If it is a mechanical switch only then you you can use it even 220 V but current carrying capacity of the switch is halve (ex. 110 V - 10 Amps --> 220 V - 5 Amps)
Standard Voltage is mostly 220/440V.
For the other specs @277V , can not use this voltage, not sure if transformers are available....
Re: Using 110w light switch
If you use it directly, it will be damaged (the sensing and controlling part).
You can use a transformer to get 110 volts pero kelangan naman 11volts yung mga bulbs mo.
