Hello everybody, newbie here..I just want to ask what's the best remedy for a water seeping through my car port.

When we built our house, the car port/terrace was not originally in the plan. When budget permitted us to build the carport/terrace, the contractor poured concrete joining it with the house.

The terrace was finished with tiles. However, when rainy days came, water is leaking and seemed to be coming from the portion where the concrete was joined together. This causes water stains on the ceiling (hardiflex) and annoys me to see water dripping.

What is the best way to repair the leak? Can elastomers like Flexiseal applied under the concrete stop the leak?

Please help.

Thanks.

Re: Water Leak

You can use Flexseal to waterproof the outer surface but not the inside part. Use at least 5-6 coats on the whole surface. Hope this helps.

Re: Water Leak

maraming salamat
