Hi guys, newbie here. Your inputs and knowledge will most definitely be appreciated.

Where can i buy Black steel pipe for wardrobe and table organizer furniture DIY in Cebu? Or other similar plumbing style pipe that professional clothing stores used such as Pull & Bear for their wardrobe display organizers/furniture. Lastly, is there any hardware store that can custom cut to a certain measurement for a steel pipe purchase?

Apparently, i have seen so many uses for a diy project with steel pipes and the only problem is i haven't seen any hardware stores in cebu that caters to different lengths and sizes available with steel pipes.
Kindly see attached images herewith as an example.

Thank you.

Why not settle for GI pipes or stainless steel rather than BI (black iron) pipes that rusts easily. Pipes are sold by 6 meters (20 feet) in various sizes, from 3/4" up to 6" in diameter and at different gauges. Buy your pipes and cut it yourself (DIY), simply buy a hack saw or an angle grinder fitted with a cutting disc.

You can cut your pipes at a desired dimensions and design. Measure twice and cut ones. 😉

Hi Rosy,

Sincerely, i thank you for your advise. Yes, GI pipes would probably the only way to go since this is the only available pipes i have seen that are sold in the local hardwares of Cebu.

A bit of a problem though with the DIY if i cut the pipes myself is losing the thread of the pipe. This in turn renders the inevitable non-modular experience of the project. Unless, otherwise if anyone here can suggest a store with custom pre-cut pipes.

Thank you.

@ mac,

Yes cutting the required pipes you will use will definitely loose the pipe threads, in turn if I'm doing the project, I will just but a set of pipe threader and do the threading myself on the size of pipes that will be used. I do not know a store that sells custom pre-cut pipes and with threads on its ends.

Maybe you can ask the store selling the pipes to cut your required size and possibly have it threaded if they have the machine for threading, but of course cutting and threading those pipes will require additional cost for labor.
