for toilet it's more practical to use the pastic doors rather than wood, no effect when it gets wet. that's what i use in our house last year ... cheers

Definitely agree. But remember that not all plastic doors are equal. May manipis na klase. Bilis masira yung kabitan ng door knob.

one more thing to consider, if you will also be installing door jamb (e.g. new house construction) for the main entrance and bedroom doors, you may want to consider using metal door jamb (last year i got them for about P1.1K each @ Citi Hardware (Marbel), a lot cheaper than getting kiln dried hardwood jamb. the good thing about metal door jamb is that it won't expand or contract in case the wood is not properly dried and treated.

for bedroom doors, those standard (processed) hollow doors (e.g. solid frames with wood sheets between the frames) should be ok. once they are spray painted properly, you won't notice it's hollow unless you knock on the door :-).

for the main entrance door, better invest in a good solid hardwood (kiln dried and well treated) that will last for a long time rather than buying doors made of non-hardwood (e.g. gemilina, etc) because if the door you bought was not properly dried and treated, after a few years, you may have to replace it again ... cheers
