Re: Wood Parquet Q

There may still be some moisture wicking up, like the wick of a kerosene burner. If I were you, I'd lay a laminate floor. The foam under the laminate forms an effective moisture barrier.

Re: Wood Parquet Q

I plan to remove my parquet flooring and replace this with laminated flooring. My question is what to do with the old parquet tiles? Can I sell this?

Brad, STIKWEL ang name ng brand, its a wood parquet flooring glue that can be purchased at most ordinary hardware stores. If your project table will not be that big, you can buy 1 or 2 small yellow plastic containers of Stikwel of 500 grams each , or maybe add more depending on usage or buy a bucket full.

Hello po, first timer here sa forum. We're about to add a living unit as a second floor. Plywood po ang subfloor on steel framing. Can i do an overlay of tiles sa plywood? Any suggestions po sa installion method. FYI Baguio po location, need to consider high humidity 🙂

Maybe you need to screw or nail some 1/4" or 1/2" thick Hardiflex on your plywood
so to make the tile cement adhere to the Hardiflex surface.

Or better consult an architect just to be 100% sure.
