Greetings everyone,
we've recently moved in on our new house. it's a duplex which is we received with rough internal finish. Our transfer was rushed due to some reasons and so i just paid a couple of laborers to install the floor tiles to make things a bit easier to my kids.

now, the staircase is made of rough concrete, and i would like to DIY the installation of wooden planks to improve it.

I saw a second hand lumber which sells narra which came from demolished house. price is 159Pesos per brd ft. is that reasonable?

any ideas or tips on how should i proceed on my first DIY for my little home? 🙂
thanks in advance..

Re: Wood planks for Stairs

That's cheap. You can watch how to do it in youtube.com.

If you have enough board feet available at the 2nd hand store, go for it! Get a "consultant" from a foreman of a nearby construction site if you wish.
