Re: Help in Sliding Doors for Cabinets/Shelves
Thanks. I asked my brother to inquire. The shop doesn't exactly have the tracks, but they can customize.
Thank you. But the doors are mounted po on the top railings. I was told there's no need to mount them on the bottom tracks.
Rails are top mounted, but there's a guide (small piece of metal) need to install on the bottom.
Re: Help in Sliding Doors for Cabinets/Shelves
Did you got the Sentry mechanism, 30kg? This one fit for 3/4" boards. Other mechanism won't fit. You will be needing a router tool to make a rabbet (groove) at the bottom of the board for the guide.
I'm not sure of the brand, but I think it's Hafele (at least, the SA of Hafele was the one who assisted me). I did get the mechanism for 30kg, 3/4" and had the carpenter make grooves at the bottom. Everything was in place until we started sliding the doors. Palaging natatanggal yung guides which are made of plastic. Only one tiny guide came with each set, so one guide per door lang.

The guide that came with the set I bought is made of plastic. It is indeed very small.
Re: Help in Sliding Doors for Cabinets/Shelves
I also used Hafele Sliding Mechanism for 3/4" board. The bottom guide is made of plastic. The mechanism slides smoothly over Sentry brand.
I think there's something wrong with the installation. Or maybe the guide is too tight for the groove. There should be some allowance for smooth operation. You're right, I plastic guide per sliding panel. But it's not small just perfectly sized for 3/4" thick board.
Try to adjust the height of sliding door panel so that the groove will perfectly sit on the plastic floor guide. You can adjust it by turning the nut located on the threaded rod of roller mechanism. I forgot the size of the nut, I just pick a open wrench on my toolbox.
Posting picture will be a great help for giving suggestion & recommendation to solve your problem.

Or, if you prefer to have the door mounted, you can go to hafele and get the hardware that fits your need.

I didn't say you need to mount them on the bottom anyway? Did you go to Hafele to ask?

Re: Help in Sliding Doors for Cabinets/Shelves
^Thanks sir bryant. I was thinking naman that the grooves were too big, hence, umaalog yung pinto which caused the guides to loosen and eventually fall off.
I don't plan to use the guides anymore kasi they look wobbly. So I'll be using aluminum tracks. Problem ko lang is how to hide them. Will post pictures tomorrow siguro.

Where did the carpenter install the plastic guide? On the floor of your base cabinet and groove on the sliding panel?
Or the plastic guide on the bottom of sliding panel with groove on the floor of your base cabinet?
Why will you used aluminum tracks? Baka minor adjustment lang ang kailangan mapagastos ka pa ng malaki.
Re: Help in Sliding Doors for Cabinets/Shelves
^Grooves at the bottom of the doors po. Guide on the floor of the cabinet. Eto kasi yung sabi ng taga-Wilcon eh.
