am planning to buy some outdoor furniture for my small veranda. the area is not covered and is exposed to strong late morning and early afternoon sunlight and the elements of rain, wind and dust.

i've seen those nifty outdoor furniture is some country clubs that look like they're native pieces made from wicker or rattan. upon closer inspection pala, they are plastic (vinyl ba iyon o PVC).

musta sila when exposed to the elements? i love them better than those cheap looking monoblock pieces of furniture. am just afraid that they might look good at the start but will lose their luster or fade after a few months.

kasi when i looked at their prices, they are not really that cheap.

please share your experience with such. TIA!

From my limited experience with these things, they would attract bukbok or mildew over time unless these furnitures are inspected and cared for on a regular basis.

Not bukbok or anay. Mildew yes, but this can be removed by washing. I think the bigger problem would be ultraviolet degradation. Unless they are UV protected, these pieces may become weaker under the sun.
