Nag-s-start palang ang mga termites sa taas ng amba ng pinto. Kahoy lang kasi ang nilagay. Nag-ti-tipid siguro ang contructor namin dati. O kaya pinag-kasya ang budget siguro.
Anong magandang gawin? Lagyan na ng pamatay ng anay. Yung chemical kagad ang amba or structure ng pinto. Yung kahoy mismo?

By the way. Daming termites sa mismong likod ng bahay namin. Sa mismong damo (carabao grass). Nagtanim nga ako ng malungay. Kaya pala di na tumuloy umusbong, kasi kinain na pala ang ilalim ang malungay. Nag-u-umpisa palang tumutubo. Yun unti-unti kinakain ang mismong ilalim. 🙁 Kaya hinugot ko ng tuluyan at nilabas nalang sa meron vacant lot. Hope mag-su-survive doon ito. Pasensiya na sa long post at off-topic.

For your hamba, I suggest you drill some holes into it then inject with anay-killer like HomeTrek (formerly called Lentrek).
For the soil there are some solutions but some of them are not environmentally friendly. Go to your hardware and ask and read the label.
You may want to also consult some termite experts who employ environmentally-friendly techniques. One such is the use of canisters filled with wood embedded in soil. They then inspect if termites have invaded the canister and started devouring the wood. If so, they then replace the wood with a poison that the worker termites bring back to the hive to also poison the queen. Yes, it sounds rather complex and expensive.
