Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the ballasts in my 22 & 32 watt circular lights with electronic ballasts. Anybody recommend a good brand? I bought one from Ace Hardware Ikhea brand, though am a bit skeptical with the build quality.

Call Chan C Bros ... if they have NVC electronic ballast for those fixture types, and how about for standard 36 W T8 as well. Happy with NVC T5 fixtures and price (much less than the brands in mall/hardware stores).

Try also Firefly Electric. No problems so far with their electronic ballast for T8.

I have used Ikhea eballast before, the first 1 lasted less than a year (maybe 4 years ago), the 2nd one I'm still using up to now.

I think electronic ballast have improved their durability in recent years for most brands, GE and Ever (Raon) beedn going for more than 3-4 years for me. Unlike more than 5 years ago, wherein I have tested 2-3 other brands that lasted only a few months.
