Hi everyone.
The gutter in our house has a big hole on its side. Approx. 4 inch by 2 inch.
The sides of the hole are quite rusted.
Is there a way I could patch up this hole so that there will be no drips come the rainy season ?
Thanks.
Re: hole in gutter
Yes there's a cheaper way of repairing it;) Cut out all the rusted part of your gutter, measure its size and then cut a bigger sized GI flat sheet(2in bigger for the overlap) then just rivet it and put sealant around the edges to prevent leaks. Also make sure you apply paint on your patch work to prevent rust. Im just not sure if you can buy "TINGI" flat sheet, bec it usually in 3'x8' and 4'x8'. You can also used spent cooking oil cans and just flatten it with hammer once cut.
