hi,
i got quite a large frame to hang on a concrete wall. it's a nice narra mirror frame with carvings. its oval shape but if you square things up, it'll be 3ft x 2ft. it's quite heavy.
i'll be using a large lag screw with metal expasion on a solid concrete wall.
the problem now is, what can i use on the frame for it to hang on the protruding head of the lag screw.
an option is to protrude it less than 1" and just hang the carving there - but it's not a nice piece of work as the silver head will be see going through the carvings.
unfortunately, the frame didn't come with any sort of mouting stuff.
any recomendations?
Re: how do you hang heavy mirror frames (narra)
yeah...i cannot trust putting a wire across either.
i am rooting to place a wooden block (vertical) behind where i can dig a hole for the lag screw head..well just my idea..hehe.
can we have a pic? what is actual weight btw?

Hi,
Try this:
Double wedge at the top and a spacer below, this gives the mirror a floating effect from the wall. Paint the wedges and spacer the same color of the mirror para maganda tignan sa side.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
