how to diy clean flooded electric tools?

i have flooded...
water compressor
air compressor
welding machine
generator
grinder
drill

can i fix them diy?
i did not plug any of them dahil takot ako lumaki sira.

can anyone tell me how to diy clean them? or suggest shops to help me get them fixed.. sana yung di masyado mahal na solusyon.. thanks

I had an experience with small power tools like drill and grinder that got wet (but not necessarily soaked). The technician open them and thoroughly cleaned them with compressed air and contact cleaners, checked continuity and that was it.

most electric power tools can be soaked wet. what's important is, DO NOT use them by simply drying outside. open it up, separate the components, dry and lubricate before reassmebly and check for resistance. a near zero resistance indicates a short. it could still be wet.

my mothers air compressor got flooded in cainta it floated and bash the gauges when the current went by.. after just cleaning it abit it run fine..

all u hav to do is dry all tools then u can use it na normally except for the generator which u hav to change oil and fuel first
