Preparing resin and hardener for first coat of gel coat... (though I didn't have any filler material on hand... I just used simple resin to create a thin layer of gel coat... hope this works... 🙂

Re: My fiberglass DIY

After seeing the mould has properly set... I decided to free it now from the glass mould by cutting it in half...

Hi bro bugel... thanks 🙂 yes makati siya. U need to put talc powder on your hands and use surgical gloves when handling fiberglass mat. Aslo a good air filter to avoid inhaling microscopic fiber glass 🙂

Re: My fiberglass DIY

Hey bro amboy,

Been following this thread of yours since you started this last week and really find this very nice and very interesting topic and project. Likewise plus 1 to bro bugel's observations.

Can you in the end as you finish your project if you don't mind to enumerate or make a list of the materials needed in making such similar project or whatever. I know lots of members here will be interested too with the correct or proper usage of such materials. I myself have been wanting to learn how to go about using this kind of material/s for other personal projects in the future.:thumbup:

Thanks in advance bro amboy !!! :thanks:
