Re: Old 6"x6" coconut posts on old wooden house

@bigfoot At pest(dot)com(dot)ph @1.5k it's the cheapest among the termiticides-had it shipped to Cebu. Aldrich is the guy to contact to. Hope that helps

I had a hard time looking for termiticides. As most pest control services won't sell their products. You have to avail of their services. That's why when I luckily found the site. I did not hesitate to purchase as I really want to get even with those termites. Lols!

Thanks for the info, been looking for this for awhile. I have seen it used before and the active ingredient as toxic as the old ones. Its same for most pets even. The active ingredient(Fipronil) is the same as Frontlne (flea and tick spray).

Dumb mistakes will always be dumb mistakes, unless . . . . you learn from it, and then it will be learning experience.

Your welcome. Glad to help. Yes, fipronil. That's the main ingredient. Was desperately looking for the Ceptiva Powder. But to no avail. Until one pest controller replied to me that its no longer in the market. That explains why. Ceptiva also has fipronil as main ingredient. Even termidor.

At one point of my desperate search. Even looked at alibaba(dot)com for fipronil. Most sell around 97-99% fipronil. But very very expensive just even for a kilo. It's around $205-$350 per kilo -- just not practical.

Which led me to Agenda 10 SC. One readily available and is not that heavy to the pocket. On average most are around that price range. Instead of using it on the soil around the premises for prevention. I'm using it as direct to the termite mud tunnels and some are injected on the crevices of the old house. On critical areas. Together with boric acid (cheaper alternative) - at least there is something done to prevent or minimize full infestation as supplement.
