mga sir, please give me some advice. My house is about 2yrs old na and I'm planning to repaint most of the cabinets in my house dahil hindi ko gusto yung finish nang painter kaya i'll try to do it on my own. also i want to cover up the cracks on my concrete walls. My questions are:

1. what putty can you recommend for concrete and wood.
2. how long will it take for the putty to cure before i sand them.
3. what paint can you recommend for concrete wall and wll cabinet that is not shiny.(i use earth color shades and a modern comtempoarary look).
4. is it ok to paint na lang the wall after rectifying the cracks? baka kasi iba yung color nang old paint compare sa new paints
5. I'm planning to buy a Bosch PSM80A multi sander. ok na po ba yun for my plan DIY painting?

1. Masonry putty for concrete. Plasolux Glazing putty if your wood existing paint is enamel. Automotive lacquer putty for lacquer based paint.
2. Depends on the weather condition. 2-3 hrs if sunny.
3. Boysen Healthy Home, Boysen Virtouso, Davies Bio-fresh for concrete wall. Try mo yun Ace Paint "Royal", acrylic latex enamel pwede siya sa wood. Available at Ace Hardware. It's Low Odor.
4. You need to repair first the crack before repainting. Definitely mag-iiba na ang kulay ng old paint compare sa new paint. Even computerized mixing ng Davies ang gamit or yun mixed & match ng Boysen. If one portion lang ng wall ang may crack & i repaint mo. I suggest sa corners ng wall ka mag cutting ng paint.
5. if Bosch PSM80A multi sander mahirapan ka maghanap ng sanding paper. I think velcro type yun sand paper niya. I suggest Bosch GSS 140A. Just divide the ordinary size sandpaper into 1/4 sizes and your good to go.

thanks a lot sir bryant for the info. looks like mahirapan nga ako mag hanap nang sanding paper for the bosch PSM80A. almost 2days na ako nag hahanap online(since i'm onboard pa) if available ba sa local hardware or DIY stores but parang wala akong makita, and yes velcro type siya. will check out the GSS140A. I guess i have to paint yung buong wall para pantay yung color.

follow up question lang sir, anong grit ang pang starting and finishing na ginagamit?

For concrete wall grit #120 sand paper.

For wooden cabinets #240 & 360 will do.
