while i love the feel and look of wood, i'd still want to have something that will be of less maintenance such as tiles for stairs.
question is, what tiles do you recommend? tiles are slippery yes. is there a tile that can be used indoors that will prevent slipping? brass nosing is also considered btw.
Re: tiles for inside stairs (2 storey house)
up for this too.. i was initially planning to use wood planks - but afraid this might get really costly. any tile ideas? 🙂 :thanks:

There are tiles that are textured or glazed roughly fro your purpose. You just have to look into the various designs available. There are also anti-slip rubber edge strips that can be purchased at your favorite mall hardwares like ACE or DIY. Brass nosing requires a lil bit more maintenance as you have to clean the grooves from lodged dirt w/c becomes a more permanent task.
