Unscientific epoxy strength test

ok so this is just a quick and dirty test. freshly ground-off steel tabs bonded to a larger steel bar using 3 different epoxies. cured under IR lamp for a few hours. total of 24hrs curing time

bent until separation

strongest: Devcon plastic steel
weakest: JB Weld

Pioneer epoxysteel just a bit stronger than JB Weld

this is what i have suspected all along. just beware of fake Devcon products

@velocitor, the quick and dirty test had a logical basis :-). thanks for sharing the information. for sure, the next time i need an epoxy, i will try to use this product -devcon plastic steel ... cheers ...

Sir is Devcon steel / plastic epoxy available in the Philippines? What particular hardware?
