di ko sure kng tama terms ko.

me mga wallpower outlet tyo sa bahay di ba? ano ba ang mga maximum nito? ilang watts na appliances ang pede isaksak. gsto ko sana ma maximize without sacrificing safety.

for example me mga extension cords/surge protectors na ang max e 1500 watts. ok lang ba na sagad ko to, to say 1200watts?

di ba mag overheat??

Re: Wall power outlets.. ilang watts ang pwede isaksak??

Medyo mahirap masagot.

thanks 2diy4.

i've checked our circuit breaker. meron me label na conv outlet. me number sa switch na 20. so i pressume eto na yong sbi mo na 20amps.
have not checked the wire gauge. pano ba to? off the breaker, open ko isang wall outlet then check ko g12 ang wire?

If the house is done up to building specs, then it should be wiring gauge 12, and breaker 20 amps, so in that circuit composed of how many??
wall outlets, the maximum load is 4,400 watts !!

Also check what brand of TW or THHN wire was used. In the past, some unscrupulous wire brands had 'undersize' gauges. The usual good safe brands are American Wire & Cable Duraflex, Columbia wire...

Although there is a safety factor, i would never load an outlet with more than 2,000 watts and if I do, only for an hour or if
intermittent, a few hours, but do check what are the load levels (wattage) of the other outlets in that circuit.

Best of luck. 🙂

And of course Phelps Dodge or PD.

Of course there are few appliances that will consume more than 1 kilowatt, like probably an electric grill, an electric iron. In Baguio I have a water heater that's specced for 2,500 watts, but it has a dedicated circuit. An electric oven will likely need a 40 ampere and dedicated service.

Some tools will be power hungry, like routers, large circular saws , 7 inch sanders. But these are normally used intermittently. Tscotom is correct, be prudent in using electricity.

FYI, a circuit breaker is nomally compose of several outlets, the sum of all outlets connected to this breaker is 240 times what is labelled on your breaker. but you have to consider also the size and type of wire was use, as safety you have to use it at 50-60% only

kung yan ang gusto mo bro better magkaron ka ng dedicated circuit and instead of using #12 wire use #10 wire and 30A breaker to be safe.but just what they've said, never maximize and be aware kung gaano kalaki (watts) mga ipaplug mo sa mga outlet.
