Hi Everyone!

I'm looking to buy a jigsaw, preferably Bosch or other reputable brand. If you can point me in the right direction (as far as what brands and models are BOTH recommended AND locally available; AND where to buy), or if you have a used one for sale, please let me know.

This would be my first jigsaw, by the way, so forgive me for so many questions..

I haven't really done my homework on this, but I've looked on toolcritic.com, and read the rave reviews on the Bosch 1590EVSK, but haven't seen it here locally. Any thoughts on the Bosch GST models?

Feature-wise: Variable speed sounds nifty, as does LED. Cordless is not a priority.

Re: Jig Saw

locally , the best one you can get is the Bosch GSR 80PBE and 80PB. what to look for would be the pendullum action and variable speed s nice to have. Bosch is equipped with an electronic speed control at the trigger ( it means you can change the speed by pressure only ).
also get the Bosch blades which are the industry standard worldwide.

click my signature and it will take you there........
